Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including driver and other commercial lorries, adhering to all road safety regulations Deliver goods to various locations in a timely manner, maintaining punctuality and professionalism Assist with loading and unloading items, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys to ensure safety standards are met Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during transit Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs Support warehouse operations as required, including inventory management and organising stock

Skills

Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices Experience in warehouse environments, including heavy lifting and manual handling Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and team members Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles safely and efficiently Organised with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting Physically fit for heavy lifting tasks and extended periods of driving or standing
