We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This role involves delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and providing excellent communication. Prior experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations is highly desirable. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently.
Responsibilities
Load Van at Depot
Unload and delivery to clients promptly and professionally
Ensure timely collection and delivery of items, adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Assist with loading and unloading van
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered during routes.
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times.
Experience :
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous.
Valid full UK driver's licence or equivalent is required, along with no more than 6 points
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Up to 26,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 60 per week
