Job description
We are looking for a number of people to join us at Shifters who may not have previously considered the role of delivery driver as well as seasoned professionals. We are more interested in you and your capabilities than previous experience.
We offer:
12.50-14.50 per hour including performance related bonuses
Additional incentives during seasonal peak periods
As we operate 6 days per week we require Saturday working on a rotation basis but we work hard to balance needs across the team

Once trained you will be delivering parcels on behalf of our clients and we therefore expect exemplary customer focus in order to uphold both Shifters and our clients' brands. We have rigorous processes to follow with world-leading systems and technology to support them. You must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative, both alone and in support of the team but you are never alone on the road, we have a huge support team at your disposal.

You must be:
In possession of a full driving licence with no more than 6 points and no active IN, CD, DR or TT endorsements
A safe and capable driver
Able to work the 9.5 scheduled hours plus morning preparation and breaks
Dedicated, flexible and able to follow correct procedures to deliver exceptional customer service
Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
Able to commute to and from the Dewsbury station
Able to load and deliver high volumes of parcels of up to 46kg each
Able to speak, read and write English to a good level
