Job Description

We are looking for Drivers to join our friendly home delivery and collection team. Previous experience in the industry is an advantage. However, if you are honest, reliable and have a can-do attitude, with a commitment to exceptional customer service then full training can be provided for the right candidates.

This is working for a family owned and run Company. The role is customer facing and will involve working as part of a two man team, delivering and collecting furniture.

Main Requirements of the Role:

Completing all aspects of a delivery crew role, including loading, securing and delivering furniture

Working effectively as part of a team

Being responsible for driving, loading, and maintaining company vehicles

Being able to risk assess and recognise potential issues in advance and provide appropriate and safe solutions

Maintain excellent customer service

Have a positive approach to personal development

Some warehouse and porter work required

Working Hours

Average working week is 5 days between Monday to Saturday

Start times are job dependant, but usually between 7-8am

Due to the nature of the work, weekly hours and finish times are not set so flexibility is required

Essential Criteria

Drivers - 12 Months Driving experience and clean licence

A level of physical fitness and health that meets the physical demands of the role

Strong teamwork skills

An ability to keep calm under pressure

Good verbal and written communication skills

A dedication to providing good customer service

A strong commitment to the personal development of yourself and others
