Purpose of the Role

Demand & Profiling Data Analyst
, you'll lead the development of NTS's transport demand and profiling models--bringing together data from across the NDA Group, HALEU supply chain, MoD, and more. Your insights will help drive strategic planning, operational efficiency, and national infrastructure decisions.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where your analytical skills and stakeholder engagement will directly influence how NTS delivers safe, secure, and efficient transport solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
Modelling & Analysis
Design and maintain transport demand and profiling models that meet evolving business needs.
Consolidate and standardise data from multiple sources to create a unified view of transport demand.
Analyse data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with HALEU and MoD teams to shape data outputs for strategic bids and operational planning.
Provide tailored insights and reports to stakeholders from the Boardroom to the shop floor.
Ensure data integrity by holding providers accountable and resolving discrepancies.
Reporting & Innovation
Develop automated, visually engaging reporting tools using Excel and PowerBI.
Continuously improve how NTS visualises and communicates transport data.
Support scenario planning workshops to inform future transport strategy.
Governance & Culture
Champion a culture of data accuracy, transparency, and helpfulness.
Maintain secure and structured data repositories, respecting confidentiality and compliance.

What You'll Bring
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience in demand forecasting, capacity planning, and data modelling.
Advanced Excel and intermediate PowerBI skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
Excellent communicator with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
Collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement and cross-functional teamwork.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Desirable
Familiarity with project management fundamentals.
Experience working in regulated or complex supply chain environments.
Qualifications
GCSEs (Grades A-C) or equivalent in Maths and English.

You'll be joining a team of around 700 colleagues nationally, with a direct impact on how we move nuclear materials safely and securely. You'll work closely with internal teams, government bodies, and external partners including Urenco, Westinghouse, and Newcleo.
