We are the leading specialists in the support and treatment of dementia across Devon. The Ness help individual living with memory loss maintain their physical and mental health through active talking therapy. We also offer training to healthcare professionals, advice to families and ongoing assessment of dementia. We have 4 memory hubs across Devon and this role will be working from our Exmouth memory hub.

We are seeking someone passionate about helping families living with dementia or those worried about their memory. The role will involve leading small group based therapy sessions that aim to improve health and bring joy. You will be taught to become an expert in cognitive stimulation therapy and cognitive rehabilitation therapy which have been shown to delay brain deterioration. You will need to be outgoing, upbeat, and passionate about making a real impact?

ndividual to join our team. Our Exmouth Hub is an active treatment hub for those worried about or living with memory loss, the space is fun, therapeutic and supportive. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working autonomously (on occasion as a lone-practitioner), has a positive energy, enthusiasm, and attitude to run small therapy groups.

What You'll Do:

Facilitate, stimulating sessions that support cognitive health and well-being. Engage with families, offering dementia advice and encouragement. Help with the daily running of the hub, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Assist with our pick-up/drop-off service for those who need transport.

Who We're Looking For:

A

positive outlook, and a love

for working with people! If you have personal or professional experience with dementia, that's a plus, but we'll provide all the training you need. We would also recommend experience in healthcare or social care.

We offer full dementia training & training in CST/CRT over a period of time.

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. (Flexible and happy to discuss)
