We are seeking a skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared efficiently and to the highest quality, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation. Assist in the meal preparation process, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure the wellbeing of guests.

Skills

Proven experience in Indian food preparation and cooking within a restaurant environment. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, including grills, fryers, and ovens. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a team setting.
