Job Overview

The City of London Club is seeking a skilled and passionate Demi Chef to join our friendly and passionate kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking within a 4or private members club background, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As one of the brigade, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional meals to our guests while working in a fast-paced environment.
Great work and life balance, working 5 out 7 days, bank holidays and Christmas off. Straight shift pattern, usually 8.00am -16.00pm with all overtime paid.

Service charge is paid monthly with an annual staff Christmas fund.

Uniform and staff meals provided whilst on duty.

Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor stock levels and assist with stock management as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in a kitchen environment within a restaurant or Private members Club setting. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of meal preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.
