You will work as part of a team to safely dismantle and remove structures, buildings, and materials in line with health and safety regulations. This role is ideal for individuals who are keen to learn specialist demolition techniques.
Assist in the controlled demolition of buildings and structures using hand tools and machinery.
Sort, remove, and dispose of debris and recyclable materials in compliance with environmental standards.
Prepare sites for demolition, including erecting safety barriers and signage.
Operate and maintain equipment under supervision.
Follow strict health and safety procedures to protect yourself and others on-site.
Work collaboratively with experienced demolition operatives and supervisors.
Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of your apprenticeship program.
You will receive on-the-job training and formal instruction to gain a recognised qualification in demolition and construction. This includes learning about:
Safe handling of hazardous materials.
Use of demolition tools and machinery.
Site preparation and clearance.
Waste management and recycling practices.

This apprenticeship requires a 45-hour working week, which exceeds the legal working time limit for individuals under 18. Therefore, applicants must be 18 or over at the start of employment.
