At Bath Demolition we are looking for a full-time Site Non-Working Supervisor to join our team and to support the project manager and contracts managers. As a Demolition Site Non-Working Supervisor, you will be given full training and support to deliver our ongoing soft strip, cut and carve, and mechanical demolition projects. You will also be responsible for organising upcoming demolition projects to ensure the smooth progress throughout.
Key Requirements:
. SSSTS (must have)
- Preferably CCDO card holder but not essential
Experience within construction or studying a recognised qualification within construction project management.
Ability to control day-to-day programming and planning and monitor ongoing progress whilst reporting back to the Project and Contracts Managers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Computer proficiency, including MS Project, Word, and Excel.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments within parameters of instructions set and standard process.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with health and safety documentation including construction phase plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
Responsibility for ensuring projects are completed on a timely basis and completed in accordance with the allocated budget.
Provision of programs of work using Microsoft Project.
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with current health and safety legislation and best practice.
Attend client meetings regarding current and upcoming work.
Oversee Subcontractors to ensure compliance e.g., having appropriate licenses, insurances, and working under subcontractor terms of engagement.
Prepare weekly and monthly client progress reports.
Organise labor and plant resources for sites.
Obtain quotes from sub-contractors and issue instructions to sub-contractors with the support of the contracts managers.
