We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, ensuring their oral health and well-being. Duties
Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth, gums, and oral tissues using clinical assessment and medical imaging tools
Diagnose dental conditions through detailed analysis of symptoms and imaging results
Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and cosmetic treatments
Ensure all procedures comply with health and safety regulations and maintain strict infection control standards
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
Keep accurate records of patient treatments, progress notes, and medical histories in compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure smooth clinic operations and optimal patient care
Qualifications
Fully qualified Dentist recognised by relevant professional bodies within the UK
Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong understanding of anatomy knowledge
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques such as X-rays or digital imaging systems
Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure and educate patients effectively
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and treatment planning
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies
