Job Title: Dental Engineer

Role Responsibilities

As a Dental Engineer, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
Installation, Service, and Repair:

Perform installation, servicing, and repair of all dental equipment, including intraoral X-rays, suction pumps, autoclaves, air compressors, dental chairs, and other related dental equipment. Provide clear demonstrations of installed equipment to ensure that the customer, typically a dentist, fully understands its operation and is satisfied with the setup. Attend scheduled maintenance, breakdowns and resolve issues to completion of repair to a high standard. Act as an ambassador for the company, fostering positive relationships with customers to encourage ongoing business. Ensure that the work site is left clean and orderly upon completion of each job. Maintain comprehensive records of installations, services, and repairs, as well as the usage of company equipment, tools, vehicle, and communication devices. Take full responsibility for the management and care of company property, including spare parts, tools, and the company vehicle.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

Industry Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience within the dental industry is preferred. However, candidates with transferable skills in electrical, plumbing or mechanical installation and maintenance will also be considered. Proficient in working with dental chairs, instruments, suction units, X-ray machines, and scanners. Good understanding of decontamination equipment such as autoclaves and washer disinfectors. (not essential)*
Excellent fault-finding abilities to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

Relevant electrical, plumbing or mechanical qualifications Dental Manufacturers training courses A full, clean driving license and strong customer service skills are essential for this role.

Training:

Eclipse Dental Engineering offer internal and external training to improve on skills and knowledge for the whole team.

Area covered London, Kent, Essex (may be required to cover other areas)*
