We are seeking a qualified Dental Hygienist to join our team on a self-employed basis. Up to two days per week are available on a Monday, Thursday or Friday. Bispham Dental is a well established private/Denplan practice in Bispham, Blackpool . We are committed to providing patients with high quality care in a relaxed environment. The successful candidate will work in a modern well equipped surgery.
Duties
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Conduct and record periodontal health assessments
Perform scaling and polishing and other procedures within the scope of practice.
Comply with relevant practice policies including cross infection protocols
Keep detailed records of treatments provided using the practice R4 computer software
Requirements
recognised qualification as a Dental Hygienist
GDC registration
indemnity cover
appropriate vaccinations
excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively
well organised with good time management and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: From 40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 - 14 per week
