Overview

Dentistry on the Grove is a modern, fully private, 5-surgery dental practice on Southbourne Grove in Bournemouth. We offer a comprehensive range of dental treatment including cosmetic dentistry, implants, Invisalign, and we take external referrals for oral surgery and endodontic treatment.

We are seeking an experienced Dental Hygiene Therapist with strong patient communication skills to join our lovely, supportive team for up to three days per week;

-Tuesdays (9-5pm)

-Fridays (9-5pm)

-Saturdays (9-1pm)

Once our patients' oral health has been restored to a stable condition, we are very focussed on prevention and believe regular hygiene appointments are of the utmost importance in keeping your teeth and gums healthy over the long-term.

Our ideal hygienist is calm, organised, gentle and approachable, has a track record of delivering good patient outcomes in terms of gum health, whilst building patient's confidence in their oral health routines.

Our routine appointments are 30mins long, nurse-supported, and 'Air Polishing' is a standard feature at the end of every appointment. Our 'perio' appointments include numbing and are 1 hour long.

The Role:

Part-time (up to 3 days / week), self-employed position Start date: September / October 2025 Supported by an experienced dental nurse Work collaboratively with our new dentist with 'Special Interest in Periodontology' to implement hygiene protocols in the practice Ideally you have two years' experience working as a dental hygiene therapist in the U.K. We cannot offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time
