We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, assisting with patient education, and supporting the overall efficiency of the clinic. Responsibilities

Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent oral disease Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using appropriate imaging techniques Assist in the preparation of patients for examinations and procedures Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with clinic protocols Ensure sterilisation of dental instruments and maintain a clean, safe working environment Support the dental team with administrative tasks as required, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

Requirements

recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene or equivalent recognised by relevant regulatory bodies Proven experience in dental hygiene or a related field is advantageous Excellent communication skills with an empathetic approach towards patients Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality
