We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Hygienist to join our full private practice here in High Barnet!

We are looking for a fully qualified GDC registered Dental Hygienist. This position is for 2 Saturdays in the month (1st and 3rd week).

Ideal candidate should be fully qualified, registered with the GDC and administrate a positive commitment to giving oral health care advice to our patients. Ensure good commnciation skills, will be hard-working, and ensuring all CQC requirments are met.

It is a bonus if you have experience in using airflow, if not, training can be provided.

Duties:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures such as teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic systems such as Exact Software of Excellence.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment

Skills:

- Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and techniques
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Exact Software of Excellence.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and documentation
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
