We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice MAINLY TO WORK ON A WEDNESDAY with a possibility to add another day . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing excellent patient care. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. A strong understanding of importance of oral hygiene especially around dental implants is essential and is expected to be explained to patients for regular maintenance.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Perform scaling and polishing of teeth to remove plaque and tartar build-up.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to dental health.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the dental team.
