Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing preventative oral care, assisting with patient education, and supporting the overall dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. Duties

Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar Conduct oral health assessments and provide personalised advice on oral hygiene practices Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and other oral health practices Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise dental instruments following infection control protocols

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health and dental procedures Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including radiography and digital X-ray systems Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently Compassionate approach with strong communication skills to educate and reassure patients Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilisation procedures

Percentage split: 35%

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 26.25-52.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
