We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. You will work closely with dentists and other dental professionals, utilising your expertise in dental hygiene practices and patient education.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing of teeth.
Conduct assessments of patients' oral health and document findings accurately.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Assist in the development of treatment plans alongside dentists.
Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for creating dental models when necessary.
Employ medical imaging techniques to capture accurate images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Experience
A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene is essential.
Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is highly desirable.
Familiarity with CAD software and medical imaging tools will be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
