Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays and other medical imaging as necessary
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as needed
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygiene license in [state/region]
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for treatment planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
