We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences and contribute to the overall success of our practice.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments to maintain oral hygiene. Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for treatment planning when necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with dentists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices, including anatomy knowledge and medical imaging techniques.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene licence or certification in accordance with local regulations. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, procedures, and best practices in oral health care. Proficiency in using SOE software is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
