We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice, Iffley Dental Care. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care. We want the applicant to be eager to learn and interested in improving their skills in treating periodontal disease.
You will be provided with training by a specialist Periodontist.
Surgery availability Monday and Friday 8.30am-5pm
6 surgery busy practice.
Remuneration on a percentage basis
Well-supported and experienced team including periodontist and DWSI in Endodontics
Fully computerised using Exact SOE
Excellent transport links to M40, A40 and A43. Great bus links to Oxford city centre.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in treatment planning and patient education.
Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Experience
and qualities
A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene is essential.
GDC registration is essential
Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is highly desirable.
Familiarity with CAD systems and medical imaging techniques will be considered an advantage.
