Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Take and interpret medical imaging, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records in accordance with practice protocols. Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Experience

A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene is essential. Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate. Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is highly advantageous. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques will be considered a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry standards. Experience with Dentally software but training will be provided
