An opportunity has opened up for a motivated and enthusiastic dental hygienist to join our team! We are a mixed dental practice providing NHS, Private and Denplan care based in Bassett, Southampton - visit www.bassettdental.co.uk

Days:

Friday: 08:00-14:00 (immediate start available)

We will also be looking to introduce Saturdays in the next 4 months, so ideal for someone who wishes to increase days. This will most likely be 1-2 saturdays a month, hours can be flexible

The position will be on a self-employed private basis. Our aim is to provide the best level of care and experience for our patients. You will be supported by an experienced team and a competitive remuneration package for services; for fee per item patients remuneration is a percentage and there is scope to earn more from additional treatments such as air flow and teeth whitening.

We are looking for a proactive, caring and conscientious person to join our team, with a great chairside manner. Bring good energy and ethics with a willingness to participate in practice marketing and social media. Our hygienist services are very popular and we have an excellent reputation. The new member of the team would continue to participate and contribute to this.

Key requirements - kind and caring approach to patients, reliable, good work ethic, ethical care, team player, ability to use initiative, organised and punctual. A commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills and rapport building is a must as well as positively contributing to the patient journey. Show a willingness to improve on existing skills, learn new skills and keep up to date with current evidence-based treatments.

Desirable but not essential - experience with Exact dental software, social media active, interest in cosmetic treatments such as tooth whitening and airflow.

Pay: 40.00-48.00 per hour
