We're seeking a passionate and professional
Dental Hygienist
to join our friendly, high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values clinical excellence, patient education, and teamwork. You'll play a key role in helping our patients achieve and maintain outstanding oral health using the latest technology and evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional dental hygiene treatments, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and record findings accurately.
Educate and motivate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques and long-term preventive care.
Take and assist with dental radiographs, ensuring correct positioning and radiation safety.
Maintain the highest standards of infection control and cross-infection prevention.
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments for each patient appointment.
Collaborate closely with dentists and the wider dental team to deliver personalised care plans.
Qualifications & Skills
Recognised
Dental Hygiene qualification
from an accredited institution.
Current GDC registration
(General Dental Council).
Excellent knowledge of oral anatomy, dental terminology, and preventive care techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a caring, professional approach.
Exceptional attention to detail in clinical documentation.
Familiarity with
digital dentistry
and modern practice workflows is advantageous but not essential.
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical and ethical care.
