Part-time Dental Hygienist required, Sutton

- Start date 30th January /6th February 2026

- Fridays: 8am to 5.30pm

- Flexibility of working one Saturday a month if desired

We're looking for an experienced Hygienist to join us at our well-established busy practice in Sutton.

You will have the opportunity to be part of our amazing team who all help, value and support each other.

We are looking for someone who:

Strong knowledge of dental hygiene principles and practices Proficiency in using dental software system - ideally Dentally Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and documentation Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals Intends on establishing themselves long term at the practice Keen to utilise Woodpecker/NSK air polishing system

We would prefer someone who:

Has more than 2 years of experience working in general practice as a Hygienist Who can work without a nurse

Education and registration required:

GDC registered Hygienist Dental indemnity
Note: We will not accept dentists from overseas who are waiting to sit conversion exams

Schedule

To start as soon as possible but willing to wait for the right candidate Part time, Permanent Every Friday (8:00 am to 5.30 pm) and potential to work one Saturday a month if desired. Hygienist will be expected to set up and close down the room. Decon support will be provided.

Salary

Self employed hygienist - fee per patient Range equivalent of 45 per hour depending on experience with additional uplift of 7.50 if providing airflow to patients within their usual 30 minute appointment time (therefore possibility of extra 15/hr) Our current hygienist works without a nurse but we are happy to consider providing decon/ full time nursing assistance ( if the latter, salary will be adjusted to reflect this and you would need to work without nurse initially whilst we hire supporting staff).*
if as a therapist - salary is to be discussed, likely based on UDA's rate / % of fee per item.
