About Us

Mayhew Dental is a friendly private dental practice in Covingham Swindon. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standard of patient care in a supportive and modern environment. Our hygiene diary is extremely busy and currently booking six months in advance. We are now looking to expand our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Dental Hygienist or Therapist who:

Enjoys a challenge and welcomes change Is committed to providing patients with excellent preventive and periodontal care Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive team
At Mayhew Dental all oral hygiene and scaling is carried out by our hygienists and not by dentists. We actively encourage patients to see the hygienist for periodontal care and prevention is central to our philosophy.

What We Offer

A very busy and loyal patient base with strong demand for hygiene services Full chairside support with every clinician assisted by a trained nurse Nurses who are highly skilled, with most holding radiography qualifications, and who are able to take impressions, place rubber dam, and scan A modern and well equipped practice including: EMS Prophylaxis Master (GBT accredited), NSK Varios Combi Pro, Cavitrons, Satelic Scaler, Two digital intramural scanners (Trios and Itero)
About You

GDC registered Dental Hygienist or Therapist Confident in providing periodontal treatment, prevention, and patient education A strong team player with a positive and proactive approach
