Job Overview
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and preventing dental diseases. You will work closely with dentists to provide quality dental care to patients.
Duties
- Conducting dental cleanings and scaling to remove plaque and tartar
- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Applying fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
- Recording patient treatment information accurately
Qualifications
- Hold a recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene
- Registered with the General Dental Council
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for dental procedures is advantageous
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is beneficial
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for promoting good oral health.
