Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, assisting with patient education, and supporting the overall oral health of our patients. Duties

Conduct professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing procedures Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD and medical imaging technology Assess patients' oral health status through visual examinations and diagnostic tools Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care measures Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with clinical protocols Sterilise instruments and ensure the clinical environment adheres to infection control standards Monitor patient progress and follow up on treatment plans as necessary

Experience

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role within a clinical setting Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health and dental structures Familiarity with CAD software and medical imaging techniques used in dentistry Strong understanding of infection control procedures and sterilisation techniques Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively Certification or registration with the appropriate dental regulatory body is essential
This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for improving patient outcomes through preventive care. Candidates should possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Job Types: Temporary, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 40.00-50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 9 per week
