Overview

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Dental Hygienist to join our well established dental practice on a Wednesday 8am-4:30pm in the heart of Sevenoaks. Additional days can also be available. There is not a decon nurse, cleaning up and getting ready for each patient is down to the hygienist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene are met. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed. Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalised care plans for patients based on their individual needs. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies to enhance patient care. Clean up after each patient and sterilize equipment ready for the next- No nurse is provided.

Experience

A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene is essential. Minimum 2 years previous experience in a dental practice. Knowledge of Dentally software system. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is required to effectively assess and treat patients. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and explain procedures clearly. A proactive approach to continuing professional development and staying informed about industry trends.
