Our dental practice has been established for 50 years with a strong reputation for dental excellence and exceptional patient care. We are seeking a friendly, dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, ensuring that all patients receive the highest standard of dental hygiene services. You will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team including dentists with special interest in periodontology, endodontics and orthodontics.
Part-time Working Days (1-2):
Saturday is required then one additional day e.g. Wednesday or Friday (can be discussed)
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring the removal of plaque and tartar build-up.
Perform medical imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records of patient progress.
Collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies, including CAD (Computer-Aided Design) applications.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of anatomy to ensure effective treatment and care.
Experience
A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene is essential.
Previous experience in a private dental practice is preferred.
A thorough knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is required to provide effective patient care.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members are essential for success in this role.
