We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice on a Thursday and potentially one Saturday per month. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, promoting oral health education, and ensuring a comfortable experience during their visits. As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. Take and interpret medical imaging, such as X-rays, to assist in diagnosing dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health. Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards. Assist in the administration of local anaesthesia as required. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience and address any concerns or questions.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist licence or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and CAD software is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
