Job Summary

We are seeking a caring, motivated, and skilled Dental Hygienist to become an integral part of our friendly and forward thinking dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Perform scaling and polishing of teeth, applying fluoride treatments as necessary. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Flexibility and willingness to work across different locations. Knowledge of working with EMS system is a bonus, but not essential.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution. Previous experience in a dental practice is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is essential. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. A commitment to providing high quality patient care and maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.
