We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist/ Therapist to complement our team on Fridays. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene and therapy practices and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist and Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on effective dental hygiene techniques.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health, to carry out necessary treatment within your scope. Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in treatment planning and patient education. Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed. Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans. Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene licence or certification from an accredited institution. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining patient records accurately.
