Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices and demonstrate exceptional patient care. This role is essential in promoting oral health and ensuring a comfortable experience for patients during their visits.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and care. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in treatment planning and patient education. Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosing dental issues. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene/Therapy is essential. Newly qualified or foreign qualified are welcome to apply as full training and supervision will be provided. Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is required. Familiarity with CAD systems and medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients effectively.
