We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional dental care to our patients.
What We're Looking For:
A dynamic and compassionate Dental Hygienist or Therapist
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting
Passion for patient education and oral health promotion
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.
Educate patients on oral health practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
Conduct medical imaging procedures as required, utilising advanced technology for accurate diagnostics.
Assist in the development of treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs.
Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and observations meticulously.
Collaborate with dentists and specialist periodontist to provide comprehensive care.
Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies, including CAD (Computer-Aided Design) applications.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist licence or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health, ensuring effective patient assessments.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the workplace.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate patient schedules.
