We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing quality care to our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing preventative dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures to remove plaque and tartar from teeth. Perform examinations of patients' oral health and document findings accurately. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sterilised according to health regulations. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Skills

Proficient knowledge of anatomy related to oral health, including teeth, gums, and jaw structure. Experience with SOE software is advantageous Familiarity with medical imaging techniques to enhance diagnostic capabilities. Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and provide clear instructions. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage patient records efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a patient-focused approach.
