We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our quickly expanding dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care, ensuring patient comfort, and promoting oral health education. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with our dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' gum health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the development of treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment provided and any observations made during appointments. Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques, including EMS. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist qualification. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records and managing appointments. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to ongoing development and attending peer meetings, staying current with industry best practices.
