Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene/therapy practices and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist/therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on best practices for maintaining their dental hygiene.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring the highest standards of care. Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment. Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in the planning of dental procedures. Take and interpret medical imaging, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilised and maintained.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygiene/therapy licence or equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health. Proficiency in CAD technology is advantageous but not essential. Experience with medical imaging techniques is preferred. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
