We are currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic dental therapist to join our friendly team on a part-time basis, but we would consider a hygienist for some of the sessions that we have available. You must be confident to treat direct access patients as well as patients on referral in our practice within your scope of practice, and capable of referring them for treatment needed outside of your remit. We can offer support and mentorship to help with this. The clinics focus is primarily on implant patients so experience with implants is an added benefit, but training will be given. Our direct access patients cover a range of healthy patients looking to maintain and stay motivated to periodontal patients who need active treatment and long term support.
You should be confident in all aspects of Dental Hygiene/ Hygiene Therapy, treatment planning and contributing to the long-term care and maintenance of all patients at our practice. Knowledge of whitening and EMS Airflow would be beneficial.
Required
SOE (Exact) knowledge.
Degree or Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
Registered with the GDC, appropriate indemnity in place, full vaccination record, continuous CPD and a clear DBS check.
Professional and a willingness to grow and be supported in your role.
Positive attitude & someone who loves caring for patients as much as we do.
Beneficial
Dental Implant maintenance knowledge (full support can be provided and ongoing support to increase your knowledge and skill.)
Knowledge on using SOE (Exact) but training can be given if you haven't used it before.
Knowledge on utilising the EMS prophylaxis master unit, tooth bleaching and basic photography all beneficial but training can be arranged.

This job vacancy has become available due to one of our Therapists moving overseas, this is due to family/life changes..We offer flexibility with work and a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.
This position is on a self-employed part-time basis. We are looking for someone for Tuesday evenings 4:30pm-8:00pm and every other Friday & Saturday 8.30am-4.30pm. Then there could be other sessions that we could increase for you. Competitive Salary.
