Dental Hygienist/Therapist
to join our team on a part-time basis.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients on proper hygiene techniques, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' oral health, including medical history and current dental conditions.
Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in the creation of dental prosthetics and restorations.
Employ medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic images for evaluation.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop personalised treatment plans.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist licence or equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
Experience with CAD software is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is desirable.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the practice.
