Self-Employed Dental Hygienist (Fridays Only)

Location: Benhill Dental Practice, Sutton (SM1)

Job Type: Part-time, Self-employed

Pay Rate: Range (depending on if nursing support required and candidates experience)

Overview

Benhill Dental Practice in Sutton is an independent practice, we are looking for a reliable and professional Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time, self-employed basis on Fridays ( with the possibility of working one Saturday morning a month if desired)

Working Hours:

Fridays: 8:00am - 5:30pm- Includes a 1-hour lunch break

Start date: Friday 5th November

What We Offer:

- We are a friendly and supportive team. Clinically we can offer decon support as standard and nursing support on request (subject to hire).

Modern, well-equipped surgery with:
- Air conditioning
- Belmont Voyager chair
- Woodpecker piezo scaler
- NSK prophy system available if candidate confident to provide treatment

What We're Looking For:

- GDC-registered Dental Hygienist - Confident in delivering Airflow treatments and root surface debridement - Up to date with current periodontal guidelines - Skilled in managing periodontal disease and able to discuss referral cases with the dentist - Excellent patient communication and team collaboration - Strong note-taking and record-keeping skills - Dependable and professional attitude - Able to work independently if nursing requested but cover is unavailable (e.g.due to illness) - Keen to contribute to the growth of the practice
