We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care and supporting dental practitioners in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary using IT systems. Sterilise instruments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of service delivery.

Qualifications

Training will be provided for the right candidate. An apprenticeship scheme will be provided. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and team members. A genuine passion for patient care and a desire to contribute to the overall well-being of patients. Training in using IT systems relevant to dental practice
