Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our friendly, family-oriented dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Duties

Assist our dentists and hygienist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort. Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary. Monitor patient care before, during and after procedures to ensure their wellbeing. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and service delivery. Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse. Strong skills in patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A valid nursing qualification and GDC registration.
