We are a busy, friendly dental practice in Ashbourne and we're on the lookout for a Trainee or Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team.
We are looking for:
A positive, caring personality and great communication skills.
Someone who is reliable, organised, and loves working as part of a team.
Enthusiasm to learn - whether you're starting your training journey or bringing existing experience.
A "can-do" attitude and willingness to support both patients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
Assisting the dentist chairside with all aspects of patient care.
Helping with cross-infection control and maintaining a safe environment.
Preparing instruments and materials for treatments.
Supporting patients to feel at ease before, during, and after appointments.
(For trainees: completing your Dental Nurse qualification - fully supported by us!)
Skills
Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Background in nursing or relevant healthcare experience is advantageous.
IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members alike.
