Hours of work: up to 37.5 hours per week, negotiable, typically between 08:45 and 18:15, Monday to Friday

Main purpose of job:

To work as part of the practice team to assist the provision of dental care services to patients whilst remaining fully compliant with all relevant legislation.

Main tasks of job:

Clinical duties Chair side dental clinical assistance during dental surgery including aspiration, mixing of dental materials and monitoring of patients Clinical cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of dental surgeries and instruments.

Administrative Duties

Ensure patient's records are accurate and that they are regularly updated as patients visit the practice. Making, cancelling and altering appointments face to face and by letter and telephone

Teamwork

Encourage and motivate other staff in line with practice policies. Take an active role in team communications and meetings.

Public relations and patient contact

Liaise between dentists, staff and patients Act to enhance patient satisfaction
