We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and support to our dental team. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist in various dental procedures, ensuring that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during clinical procedures.
Manage and process dental applications and appointment bookings.
Maintain accurate records in logbooks and digital systems.
Order and manage dental materials and supplies.
Support and coordinate service visits
Conduct initial triage of dental complaints to prioritise care.
Escort staff and patients to and from the dental clinic as required.
Ensure high standards of infection control and cleanliness.
Prepare and manage dental instruments and materials.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures within the prison setting.
Requirements:
Valid GDC (General Dental Council) registration.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Dental Nurse (preferred).
Experience with SOE (Software of Excellence) dental software (beneficial).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
