Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This role requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as proficiency in IT to manage patient records effectively.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories, using dental software. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure optimal patient flow. Collaborate with the dental team to maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent nursing skills with a solid understanding of dental procedures. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Exceptional communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members. Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
