Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental nurse/ Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. You will be assisting the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining an organised front desk environment.

Duties

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently. Handle patient inquiries both in person and over the phone with excellent communication skills. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times. Assist with billing and insurance verification processes as required. Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care. Keep the reception area tidy and organised, creating a professional environment. Utilise IT systems for managing appointments and patient information effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A background in nursing or patient care is advantageous but not mandatory. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent patient care while maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
