Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental team. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist in various dental procedures, ensuring that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain a clean and sterile environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Provide excellent patient care by addressing patient queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism. Manage patient records accurately, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with data protection regulations. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, appointments, and aftercare instructions. Support the administrative team with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the practice. Stay informed about new dental technologies and procedures to enhance patient care.

Skills

Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent patient care abilities, demonstrating compassion and understanding towards patients' needs. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both patients and the dental team.
